The Dr. Ilker Manavbasi Clinic is a private medical facility in Istanbul, Turkey that caters to patients needing only one medical specialization. The practice of plastic surgery is the primary focus of this group. The patients in Dr. Ilker Manavbasi’s Office are all adults. The clinic receives an average of 600 individuals seeking medical treatment every year. The clinic sees the greatest number of patients from the CIS, Europe, Commonwealth, and the Balkans.
To ensure that human health is maintained at the highest possible standard by drawing on the capabilities of its staff, the center was established to maximize the level of patient satisfaction achieved through the application of appropriate treatment methods while adhering to the principles of health ethics. Doctor Ilker Manavbaş is the Rhinoplasty Society’s newest and youngest member. Only a select few plastic surgeons worldwide are allowed to become members of the Rhinoplasty Society.
Elker Manavbaş, a well-known and respected surgeon, was born in Ankara in 1971. Following his graduation from the Faculty of Medicine at Ankara University in 1999, he took and completed the TUS examination in the same year. As a result, he was eligible to specialize in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine at Hacettepe University, one of Turkey’s oldest medical schools.
During his six years of specialist study at Hacettepe University, Ilker Manavbaş visited the University of Kuopio in Finland and Linkoping University in Sweden as an observer doctor. His goal was to become a well-respected cosmetic surgeon. Following the completion of his specialization in the year 2001, he went on to work as the Chief of the Department of Hand Surgery in the Istanbul Private Ren Hospital for the next five years, until 2004. Afterward, he secured a job as an assistant surgeon at Professor’s Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic.
Mr. Ilker concentrated on nasal procedures (rhinoplasty). He worked in the Zeeba clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, with Professor Dr. Bahman Guyuron, recognized as one of the world’s most accomplished plastic surgeons in the field of rhinoplasty.
His areas of particular expertise include:
- Functional aesthetic nose surgery.
- Breast implants.
- Rejuvenation surgery around the eyes.
- Deep layer facelift.
- Mega-liposuction (over 5 liters of liposuction).
- Buttock enlargement (bbl).
Mr. Ilker’s objective is to achieve the perfect nose in a single procedure while also addressing the primary challenges that arise during nose jobs. He presented two methods he’d devised for this goal at an Italian plastic surgery conference in 2008. In 2010 and 2011, these treatments were deemed worthy of publication in the world’s most prominent aesthetic surgery periodicals due to their ability to prevent nasal collapse and permanently rehabilitate bent noses in a single session.
He is currently working on various techniques that have been created to enable digital nose simulations to be applied to a patient’s nose while having surgery. The English language skills of Mr. Elker are at an advanced degree. In addition to being a member of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association and the Turkish Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, he is also a member of the Istanbul Medical Chamber.
