Dr. Tayfun Ouzolu is Turkey’s leading expert in follicular unit extraction (FUE) hair transplants, and he’s now using the Motorized Extraction Device Method to perform Mega and Giga sessions. He has been a member of the FUE Advancement Committee, the most authoritative committee of the ISHRS on FUE, for the past five years. Dr. Tayfun Oguzoglu has served on the ISHRS Membership Committee for three years and is a member of the ISHRS Subcommittee on European Standards, where he helps to define the “World Standards of Hair Transplantation.”
He was the chairman of the “ISHRS FUE Regional Workshop Istanbul” in 2016 and co-chairman of the “ISHRS FUE Cadaver Hands on & Live Surgery Workshop” in 2019. He has been a member of ISHRS for 21 years. Dr. Tayfun Oguzoglu is a renowned hair surgeon who has received numerous awards. In 2016, he was given the “ISHRS Promoting High Standards of Safety and Quality of Care for Hair Loss Patients” and “ISHRS Scientific Research” awards by the chairman of ISHRS for his scientific work and achievements. Dr. Tayfun Oguzoglu was awarded the title of Fellow (FISHRS) by the ISHRS in 2018, which is given to a select group of educators with extensive knowledge and expertise. Dr. Ouzolu earned the title of American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery Diplomate after passing a two-stage examination in 2017. (ABHRS). Only 200 surgeons in the world have been awarded this designation, which signifies that their practice satisfies the highest international standards.
Dr. Oguzoglu is also a member of the International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons (IAHRS), one of the few patient-centric organizations in the area of hair transplantation. Dr. Tayfun Oguzoglu is a member of the Turkish Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (TSHRS) and serves as its Chairman as of 2020. This is Turkey’s only and largest hair restoration association.
