Dr. Oguz Kayiran, a plastic and aesthetic surgeon with more than nine years of expertise, is in charge of the CapilClinic team. He was born in 1977 in Ankara. He earned his medical degree from Ankara University’s Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and finished his plastic surgery residency at Ankara Training and Research Hospital in 2008. During his studies, he enjoyed unique international experiences at the Sheffield University School of Medicine’s General Surgery Clinic in 2000 and at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine’s Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery and General Surgery Clinics in 2008. He worked in Erzincan Military Hospital as a Clinic Supervisor. He had previously worked as a microsurgery trainee. He is now pursuing a PhD in Anatomy at Gazi University. As a responsible physician, he worked as a specialist at Tekirdag Corlu State Hospital’s Plastic Surgery Clinic and Izmir Private Ekol ENT Hospital. Between 2014 and 2015, he served as the Head of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Izmir University School of Medicine and as a lecturer at the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic at zmir Medical Park Hospital. In 2015, he worked at Istanbul’s Kolan International Hospital. He worked in Istanbul’s Metin Sabanc Baltaliman Bone Diseases Training and Research Hospital from 2015 to 2018. He was the Head of the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Department at SBÜ Sultan Abdülhamid Han Training and Research Hospital in 2018. He earned his second specialty degree in Oral, Facial, and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2013 and Associate Professor Status in 2017. He is certified by the “Turkish” and “European Board of Plastic Surgery (EBOPRAS)”. Aesthetic Surgery, General Plastic Surgery, Breast Surgery, Tumor Surgery, Hand Surgery, and Microsurgery are among his specialties. He is a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the Association of Turkish Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (EPCD), the Association of Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery (TPRECD), the Turkish Society of Hand and Upper Extremity, and the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), as well as a member of the Turkish Society of Aesthetic Face and Nose Surgery’s board of directors.
